Service Description
Here is what you receive: • The Morning session – starts off with a demonstration of the difference between using rice paper dry or wet and the possibilities this offers in addition to the myriad of layers one can build with varying dilutions of ink. Each student then makes several backgrounds using these methods to create the atmosphere for their big brush strokes. Color can be integrated at this junction, or not. While these papers dry, we return to a guided meditation and our line practice. Sharing any work done since taking Part I is welcomed. • Lunch is a healthy, delicious vegetarian meal • The Afternoon session – begins with a visualization inviting in the Water Element to flow through us and our big-brush strokes. Using our prepared backgrounds, each student delivers their strokes in turn, and signs them in the customary red. • A small group of 5 – provides each student with plenty of space and time for all your questions to be answered with other friendly art lovers. • The opportunity – to not only better recognize the subtleties in the Masters paintings and the "construction" of such through layering, but to do so one's self to any degree desired. The skill of listening more finely to the natural Elements and trust your body’s kinesthetic sense will help you attune your senses to the finer aspects of life in general. • All materials are included. Through placing the tip of a loaded ink brush onto porous rice paper discover unexpected depth in your creativity and the moment. Take home exciting works of art that emanate your unlimited energy and originality.
