This beautifully framed ink on gold-flecked rice paper originated at the base of Mt. Equinox in Sunderland, VT.  The violet background texture was developed in the open air, followed by the two unplanned single strokes with a fine goat-hair big-brush.  Framed measurements are 52" high by 25" wide.
